received her Art education at the Free Academy at The Hague, The Netherlands and Three Schools of Art in Toronto, Canada. She combines language and paint to create ephemeral images that explore her emotional and physical connections to a particular place.
Van Eijden has exhibited extensively in The Netherlands, Germany and the USA, from galleries in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Freiburg, to the Westenburg Gallery in Great Barrington, MA and Marfa, TX. She now lives and works in Cincinnati, OH, where she has shown her work.
